Global Supplier Code of Conduct, Responsible Procurement Policy and Supplier Guidelines

Asahi Group is committed to implementing and maintaining responsible procurement practices

We have developed our Asahi Responsible Procurement Program to operationalize our ambition to protect the human rights of workers and communities in our supply chains and safeguard nature.
We aim to achieve responsible procurement, and our policies are set forth below in the Responsible Procurement Policy and the Asahi Group Global Supplier Code of Conduct. To support our suppliers in understanding and adhering to the Responsible Procurement Policy and Asahi Group Global Supplier Code of Conduct, we have prepared the comprehensive Responsible Procurement Supplier Guidelines. You will find the policies and guidelines below.

Asahi Group Global Supplier Code of Conduct

We are committed to a principled approach to doing business. We operate in a way that promotes responsibility in the areas of human rights, the environment, compliance, and ethical conduct, and actively discourage corruption and corporate fraud. We expect our Suppliers to meet the same standard. Outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct are the minimum compliance requirements and standards we require from our Suppliers of goods or services. We require our Suppliers to embrace, support, and enact these minimum expectations, and participate in ongoing monitoring of their own compliance.

Asahi Group Responsible Procurement Policy

At the Asahi Group (also ‘Asahi’, ‘we’, ‘our’), we source products and services from across the world. Due to the nature and scale of our business, we have significant potential to drive positive social and environmental outcomes through our procurement activity. We expect strong social and environmental standards from our suppliers and aim to support our suppliers to implement more sustainable practices. Our Responsible Procurement Policy aims to outline our expectations of all suppliers. These expectations are guided by our commitment and approach to implementing and maintaining responsible procurement practices that protect the human rights of workers and communities in our supply chains and safeguard the natural world.

Asahi Group Responsible Procurement - Supplier Guidelines

This Guidelines outline the process by which Asahi’s suppliers are to engage with the Program and communicate evidence of compliance with the requirements set out in the Policy. The Guidelines are for use by all suppliers as guidance material for understanding how to interact with the Program and conform with the requirements set out in the Responsible Procurement Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct.
