Asahi Group Recognized with Prestigious Double “A” Score in Climate Change and Water Security by Global Environmental Non-Profit CDP
(Tokyo, Japan - February 19, 2025) – Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. announces that it has been recognized for its leadership in corporate sustainability by global environmental non-profit CDP*, securing a place on its prestigious double “A List” for tackling climate change and water security. This is the seventh consecutive year since 2018 that Asahi Group has been recognized for this score in climate change.
Asahi Group acknowledges that its recognition on the "Climate Change and Water Security A List" is a result of a range of decarbonization and water efficiency improvement initiatives with suppliers and partners along with corporate transparency. Moreover, the Group believes having Asahi’s short-term and long-term targets verified by the Science Based Target initiatives (SBTi), including FLAG** emissions, has also been recognized.
