Asahi Super Dry Rolls Out Its First Unified, Large-Scale Promotion Across East Asia
(Tokyo, Japan - July 7, 2025) – Asahi Breweries Ltd., a subsidiary of Asahi Group Holdings, has appointed world-renowned music group BLACKPINK as the ambassador for Asahi Super Dry. BLACKPINK will feature in Asahi Breweries’ collaboration with Asahi Group subsidiaries across East Asia to launch its largest-ever unified promotional campaign in the region.
Asahi Super Dry is a global brand available in more than 50 countries and regions worldwide. BLACKPINK is an internationally acclaimed music group with a powerful fan base spanning Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond. Asahi Group aims to harness BLACKPINK’s global reach by appointing them as the Asahi Super Dry ambassador in East Asia, including Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mongolia, to raise awareness and create excitement for the brand. This is the first time Asahi Super Dry will conduct a unified promotional campaign across East Asia, and the first time BLACKPINK has served as brand ambassador for a beer.
BLACKPINK is a four-member music group from South Korea, consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Managed by YG Entertainment, they made their debut in August 2016 and quickly rose to global stardom through a series of record-breaking hits. They became the first K-pop act to achieve both million-seller and double million-seller albums, and the first Asian female artists to simultaneously top both the Billboard 200 and the UK’s Official Albums Chart. In addition to dominating charts, BLACKPINK became the first Asian act to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Their most recent world tour—the largest ever by K-pop artist—drew 1.8 million attendees across 66 performances in 34 cities. Beginning in July 2025, BLACKPINK will launch a new world tour featuring 31 performances across 16 cities, further cementing their status as a leading global music act.
