Asahi Group Recognized with Prestigious Double “A” Score in Climate Change and Water Security by Global Environmental Non-Profit CDP
(Tokyo, Japan - January 8, 2026) – Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. has been recognized for its leadership in corporate sustainability by global environmental non-profit CDP*, earning a place on its prestigious double “A List” for tackling climate change and water security. This marks the eighth consecutive year since 2018 that Asahi Group has achieved this score for climate change and the second consecutive year for water security.
Guided by the Asahi Group Philosophy, the company strives to contribute to a sustainable society through its business activities. The Group is working to achieve net zero GHG emissions across its entire value chain by 2040, driving a wide range of decarbonization initiatives. This long-term target has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The Group has also set clear goals for sustainable water use at its manufacturing sites while advancing water stewardship in local basins, through collaboration with stakeholders to manage risks.
